Accessibility
Last updated: October 20, 2026
SimpleDeeds, operated by Estate Prep Inc., wants everyone to be able to order and receive their California deed, including people who use assistive technology.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we follow its recommendations as we build and update this site.
What we do
- Use clear page structure, with headings, labeled form fields, and landmarks that screen readers can navigate.
- Provide text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Keep text and buttons in colors with strong contrast.
- Make the order form, address search, and checkout usable with a keyboard alone.
- Show our cookie notice as part of the page, not a pop-up, so it never covers content or traps keyboard focus.
- Respect your device's reduced-motion setting.
- Write descriptive link and button text, so you know where each one leads.
In-person signing and other accommodations
You can sign with our notary at our Redding office (5000 Bechelli Lane, Suite 104) or our Roseville office (915 Highland Pointe Dr, Suite 250), or our Sacramento office (500 Capitol Mall, Suite 2350). If you need an accommodation, such as large-print documents or help completing your order, tell us when you place your order or contact us and we'll work with you.
Feedback
If something on this site is hard to use, or you need information in a different format, ask DeeDee, our chat assistant, on our homepage, email info@simpledeeds.com, or call (530) 999-4469. Please tell us the page and the problem, and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
Ongoing improvement
We review the site as standards change and as we hear from customers. Some third-party tools we rely on, such as our payment provider's checkout page and Google address search, are maintained by those companies; if one of them gives you trouble, contact us and we'll help you complete your order another way.
